Up to 7 Hours of MCLE Credit for Attorneys

The second day of our Conference focuses entirely on education about veterans disability benefits to include Pension, DIC, Disability Compensation and appeals.  The presentation is designed to meet most state bar requirements for Mandatory Continuing Legal Education.  Most states will allow for individual application for CLE credits from those who attend this session.  We are also working on getting preapproval from a number of states to make the credit automatic.  It isn’t just attorneys who should attend this session.  The Friday session is for all attendees to learn more about veterans benefits and how to incorporate these benefits into their business or practice.  READ MORE

Life Resource Planning

Picture
Conference attendees receive a free 30 day trial of the Life Resource Planning System.  Life Resource Planning (LRP) is an online software planning system from the NCPC.  Potential aging senior clients, represented by their children through proxy, fill out an online questionnaire of 120 questions.  The Life Resource Planner automatically receives this completed questionnaire in his or her personal online Life Resource Planning database.  In a matter of minutes, the planner brings up the questionnaire on his or her computer, clicks on a button and automatically produces a professional looking planning report in PDF format, based on the questionnaire.  READ MORE

Medicaid Planning

Picture
Medicaid planning is a legal process to protect assets from the financial ravages of state Medicaid long-term care programs.  There are two aspects to the planning.  The first is crisis planning where application for Medicaid is imminent and strategies must be implemented to save remaining assets.  The second aspect is Medicaid preplanning where years in advance, strategies can be put in place to preserve assets if Medicaid is ever needed.  The Conference covers both aspects of Medicaid planning and how to integrate it into your business or practice.  READ MORE
