Grow Your Business or Practice through Life Resource Planning – 60 Minutes

Presented by Thomas Day CLU CLRP, Director National Care Planning Council

Picture
Life Resource Planning is a marketing system developed by the National Care Planning Council and is used to find new clients or customers for practitioners who work in the senior market.  The LRP system works well for financial types such as insurance agents, registered representatives and financial planners as well as working for home care companies, attorneys, care managers, real estate agents and reverse mortgage specialists.

Family members of aging seniors fill out an online questionnaire of approximately 120 questions.  The questionnaire is directed towards planning for the final years for aging loved ones which includes preservation of assets, need for legal documents, caregiving issues, insurance coverage, Medicaid planning, veterans benefits, final years living arrangements and much more.  The questionnaire is stored in an online database.

The person doing the planning opens the online questionnaire on a computer and clicks on a button which creates a detailed PDF Planning Report based on that questionnaire.  The planner then goes over the report with the family member client.  Going through the Report produces business appointments and product and service sales for a variety of practitioners in the senior market such as insurance agents, attorneys, home care companies, reverse mortgage specialists, home maintenance specialists, placement specialist and the list goes on and on.

This planning approach for marketing and sales involves working with a number of practitioners who provide complementary senior services.  It is a synergistic way to produce marketing leads within the group which results in many more sales than working independently without this group marketing support.

Life Resource Planning is a nonthreatening way to help family members plan for the final years of life for their loved ones and at the same time produce product or service sales that are directed towards making that planning possible.  All attendees at the conference receive a 30 day free trial of the Life Resource Planning System.  There is no requirement for submitting credit card information for this free trial.  Life Resource Planning allows for producing an unlimited number of Planning Reports for a countless number of clients for a monthly subscription fee of only $19 a month.
